Micro-Bootcamps
Cornell Workforce Development for Food and Dairy Processors extends its outreach to high schools across the state with a dedicated mission: to highlight the abundant career opportunities within the food and dairy processing industries. The micro-bootcamp initiative is designed to spark curiosity and passion in students, encouraging them to explore food and dairy processing as a potential career path.
Each visit is uniquely tailored, with agendas crafted in collaboration with Agriculture Educators and Career and Technical Education teachers. The micro-bootcamp offers an engaging experience where students learn about the diverse careers within food and dairy processing, explore the science behind butter production, and gain insights into New York State dairy statistics, milk composition, and more. Through these interactive sessions, we aim to inspire the next generation of food and dairy industry professionals.
