I am a Fleming postdoctoral associate in Adrienne Roeder’s lab in the Plant Biology Section of the School of Integrative Plant Science. I earned my PhD from Indian Institute of Science with Utpal Nath. I recently joined as an Assistant Feature Editor (AFE) to The Plant cell. Former SIPS-PA co hair (2019-2020), Plantae Fellow, Postdoc representative at the Plant Biology Section faculty meetings.
Research focus: I am investigating the molecular mechanism of giant cell development in the Arabidopsis sepals using single-cell RNA-seq, ChIP-Seq, genetics and cell biology.
Interests: Apart from Science, I am interested in photography, cooking and travelling.
