Vico Vecchiotti

Vico (they/them or it/its) joined the department in February 2024, after six months as the insect assistant at the Museum of the Earth (…and five years of administrative work in the insurance industry). They hold a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from SUNY Oneonta. In its free time, Vico enjoys reading, insect collecting, and crochet.

As the Administrative Assistant, Vico assists with:

• Department email and main phone line, assisting visitors, and other associated first-point-of-contact interactions
• Managing supplies, deliveries, and purchases
• The department’s Sona research study system
• Coordinating meetings in-person and via Zoom
• Organizing department events
