I am a Research Support Specialist at the Cornell Soil Health Lab.
I received a Master of Science from the department of Soil and Crop Sciences at Colorado State University in 2024. My thesis focused on soil health assessments for water-limited regions, evaluating the impact of compost application and increased cropping system intensity on physical and biological indicators of soil health. Prior to receiving an M.S., I graduated from Bard College in the Hudson Valley of NY where I earned a B.A. in Environmental Science and an educational background in performance and visual arts.
I have experience across ecological fields, from community-led water quality monitoring programs to grazed grassland projects to on-farm soil ecology research across the US and internationally. This led to my deep-rooted interest in managed ecosystems and interdisciplinary approaches to studying them, including participatory research, educational outreach, and community-driven projects.
