Ted is a writer, editor and strategic communicator with nearly 20 years of experience in higher education communications. As the senior writer for Cornell CALS, he crafts messaging and plans editorial strategies to advance the college’s reputation and demonstrate its life-changing impact through various media and platforms.
In previous roles at Cornell, Ted guided storytelling and handled crisis communications as deputy director of strategic communications for the Division of University Relations and led marketing and communications for the College of Human Ecology. Prior to Cornell, he worked for Google News and Temple University. Ted has journalism degrees from Waynesburg University (B.A.) and Stanford University (M.A.), and his articles have published in the San Francisco Chronicle, Stanford Magazine and NYU Magazine.
When not at work, Ted enjoys hanging out with his wife, two boys and dog.
