As part of Cornell’s historic "To Do the Greatest Good" campaign to raise at least $5 billion to make the world better for future generations, CALS aims to raise $300 million to tackle the challenges of our times through purpose-driven science that advances understanding and improves life.

Flexible impact
The Annual Fund is the lifeblood of CALS. Gifts to our annual fund immediately impact the college’s priorities - enabling students to pursue their education and engage in experiential opportunities, and giving faculty and graduate students the resources to leverage their knowledge and research into solutions that create a more sustainable, healthy and equitable world.
Widening Impact on Science and Education (WISE)
WISE is a dynamic new philanthropy group in CALS. Through collective giving and purposeful engagement, WISE unites alumni, parents, and friends of CALS who are committed to shaping a better world through leadership, philanthropy, and service.
Facilities
It is no small task to keep up CALS’ 500 buildings (totaling over 3.5 million square feet) and over 10,000 acres of agricultural and natural lands across New York State and beyond. The historic Plant Science building is the home to our world-renowned School of Integrative Plant Science, and much of it has not been renovated since the original construction in the 1920s. Currently underway, phase 1 of the renovation is anticipated to complete by the end of 2025, with phase 2 to follow in 2026.

CALS is committed to building and sustaining an inclusive environment for our entire community of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff. We support a diverse group of scholars who engage in transformative research and directly address systemic racism and inequities through inclusive teaching, innovative research, effective communication, and dedication to broadening participation.
