Shane currently serves the department as the graduate field assistant. In this half-time role, he assists faculty and students with tasks surrounding milestones in the graduate student experience from initial inquiry, application, recruitment, and matriculation through graduation. He is involved in the administration of the admissions and selection process, general orientation, records administration, and graduate student assistantship appointments.
Prior to his current position at Cornell, Shane served for 18 years as the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Classroom Manager and lead Instructional Technologies Specialist.
Shane resides in Dryden, NY with his wife Rachael, and their children Hollace and Connor.
