Join us for Produce Industry Virtual Office Hours on Thursday, May 18th. This session is all about agricultural water! The Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) will discuss current and proposed agricultural water requirements in the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule (PSR; 21 CFR 112). PSA will discuss the differences between pre-harvest/production water and harvest/post-harvest water used on farms, what covered farms should know about compliance with Subpart E of the PSR, and common challenges. Following the presentation, the PSA team will be joined by representatives from the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets for a moderated Q&A.
