Peter Paradise is the Associate Dean of Finance and Administration of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS). As Cornell CALS’ business officer, Peter is responsible for the integration and strategic use of financial, physical, human and information resources which include an annual budget exceeding $300M (excluding sponsored research) and stewardship for 500+ buildings and 17,000 acres statewide. Peter has served in central and unit roles at Cornell for 29 years and has held positions in both the endowed and contract colleges including Environmental Engineer, Engineering Manager, Associate University Engineer, Facilities Director, and Assistant Dean of Facilities and Capital Projects. Peter received his Associate of Applied Science in Ecology and Environmental Technology from Paul Smith’s College, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Master of Engineering in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Cornell University and Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts.
