In his own time: Family is a big part of what I do outside of work. Despite our busy schedules, we have dinner together almost every night. I also like to downhill ski (I’m hoping it’ll get cold soon) and I run, bike and swim for exercise and stress reduction
Current research project(s): Much of my current research is focused on developing production systems for growing hard cider apples. I also have several projects related to understanding the microbiome of orchard soils.
What most excites you about Cornell: The ability to work with great colleagues and students.
