In advance of the June 22 release of their sixth studio album Pray for the Wicked, the band Panic! at the Disco released a new single co-produced by Alex Kresovich ’08, “King of the Clouds.” The band’s 2016 album, Death of a Bachelor, was nominated for the Best Rock Album Grammy and sold more than one million copies.

“King of the Clouds” has received more than 1.2 million plays on YouTube in less than 48 hours and is expected to reach the Billboard charts next week.

Kresovich, a communication major at Cornell, previously collaborated with X Ambassadors, Cee Lo Green, Jared Leto’s band 30 Seconds to Mars and Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label. He is partner and chief marketing officer for The Cut Buddy, an Ithaca-originated beard and haircut template company that received a deal on the ABC television show “Shark Tank” last fall, selling a 20 percent stake in the company for $300,000.
