About the Speaker

Caroline Bragdon
Director of Neighborhood Interventions, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene

Caroline Bragdon has worked in urban public health at the City, State and Federal level for over 25 years. Ms. Bragdon currently serves as the Director of Neighborhood Interventions for the Pest Control Services team at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Ms. Bragdon works to develop and improve neighborhood level responses to rat infestation and is developing case studies for pest management planning at the neighborhood and building level. She develops curricula and teaches urban Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for diverse audiences in New York City including building managers, custodians, gardeners, businesses, and city employees. Ms. Bragdon received a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health and Social Psychology from Tufts University and a Master’s degree in Public Health from John Hopkins University.

This event is part of the New York State Integrated Pest Management academic seminar series which is designed increase awareness of new research and techniques that advance Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and its adoption in all types of pest management settings.
