Assistant to Department Chair, Natural Resources and the Environment
Michele holds degrees in Fine Arts, Art History, and received her Master’s Degree in History Museum Studies from the Cooperstown Graduate Program. Prior to her work at Cornell, Michele was Curator of Exhibits for the Missouri State Museum and worked in the publications department at the newly renamed Buffalo AKG Art Museum. Michele joined Cornell in 2016 in the School of Integrative Plant Science, serving as an Admin Assistant and for the last 5.5 years, as the Chair’s Assistant to the Horticulture and Plant Pathology & Plant-Microbe Biology Chair’s within SIPS.
Outside of work, Michele is a keen gardener. She will complete Master Gardener training this summer and looks forward to continued garden education, learning from seasoned home gardeners and dedicated county volunteers. Michele knits in the winter months and has 4 cats.
