About
Megan Hay is the Administrative Assistant for Mario Herrero & the Food Systems and Global Change team in the Department of Global Development. She provides support for calendaring, travel, meeting requests and communications. Megan works closely with the research team, Project Manager, Financial Representative, and various staff at Cornell, as well as a global network of donors, stakeholders, and collaborators.
Prior to joining the team at Cornell, Megan worked on the science, research, and product development teams at bio365, a national company that produces biochar-enhanced media for controlled environment agriculture. She pursued an Associates of Applied Science in Sustainable Farming and Food Systems from Tompkins Cortland Community College, working on the TC3 Farm while in school.
Megan spends her free time playing piano, knitting, singing in various local choral ensembles, tending to her plants, and watching the seasons change in Upstate New York.
