Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology from the University of Scranton in 2024. There, under the mentorship of Dr. Amelia Randich, he worked as an undergraduate researcher characterizing reproductive strategies in marine caulobacters. Joining the Burton Lab in Fall 2024, he works characterizing small proteins in E. coli and B. subtilis, working to identify the roles these proteins may play in two-component systems.
