Join us in 461 Kennedy Hall for a lecture with Jośe de Jesus Leal, Principal and Director of Native Nation Building Studio at MIG. This lecture is titled "Land as a Relation: Supporting Indigenous Connections/Reconnection and Our Obligations to Truth and Healing." Much of the Indigenous Identity and history are land-centered. This storytelling session will define essential connections between the land and subsistence lifeways. It will identify how we can help restore, protect, reclaim, and support the revitalization of Indigenous culture, language, knowledge, and ceremonies while healing the land
and people.
