Hilary is a former first-generation college student with a passion for educational equity and student empowerment. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies as well as a Single Subject Teaching Credential in English Language Arts at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Hilary taught English and AVID in California public high schools for eight years prior to transitioning to higher education.
Hilary began in CALS working with Admissions in 2023 before joining the Office of Student Services. In her roles, she supports the Registrar and Inclusive Academic Advising teams and manages student communication via the CALS Student Services front desk.
