Lifelong Learning for Employees
CLASP is a participatory adult learning program that facilitates one-on-one mutual learning partnerships between Cornell employees and Cornell students.
CLASP is funded by the Cornell Employee Benefits Pool. Any Cornell employee in good standing is encouraged to apply, with union members receiving first priority for spots.
How it works
Cornell employees in CLASP choose a study area for the semester; Cornell students in CLASP take courses on adult learning and apply what they are learning in class with their partner.
Employee-Student Learning Partners meet for 1 hour per week, around 8 times during the semester, to learn about their study area.
With approval of supervisor, partners may be able to meet during the employee’s work time. Employees can also meet with their student partner on their own time.
