Tell us a fun fact about you.

I'm passionate about filmmaking and outdoor recreation and hope to find ways to find cohesion between these activities and global development!

What are the big challenges you want to tackle in the world?

I believe that I would like to work toward liberalizing education in regard to climate change, and other social issues, through accessible forms of media (writing in non-jargon language, film, social media, etc.) is an exciting and achievable future in global development.

What were you doing before the MPS program?

I was at Cornell for undergrad before the MPS program, working on a documentary.

What does global development mean to you?

Global development to me means working together from many ideological perspectives to create a sustainable and equitable global community.

What has been the most memorable or impactful experience of your career so far?

Developing a UNDP-GEF-assigned Climate Smart Agriculture Extension program for Armenian farmworkers, which was presented at COP 25.

How do you envision your MPS degree contributing to your career?

I believe that furthering my communication and education skills, especially in regard to topics connected to and congruent to global development, will only further my ability to share my knowledge of environmental and climate science, along with social issues, to audiences that span outside the academic community.
