The MBG REU program provides a weekly Wednesday lunch, and a $750 meal allowance for the summer. Most students shop and cook on their own. If you wish to purchase a campus summer meal plan, information can be found here after April 1, 2024.

Please Note:

You will be staying in Ganędagǫ hall, which is located right next to the Toni Morrison Dining Hall. However, Ganędagǫ and Toni Morrison are located on North Campus. It may not be feasible to use the hall for lunches during the week, due to the commute. You will have access to a kitchen in your hall, however, and we greatly encourage you to bring cooking supplies to prepare your own food. (More about this below.)

Kitchen Use/Groceries:

Each room is located in a suite, and each floor has a kitchen for use, with a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. These facilities are designed for occasional meal preparation and can quickly become over crowded. (See floor plan map below.)

There are also many great restaurants near the Cornell Campus. P&C Fresh is located in East Hill Plaza (315 Pine Tree Road) and has an online shopping app either for in-store pickup or delivery. There is also an Aldi's on Triphammer Road, a Tops Marketplace and a Target (plus more).
