Grant Fellows Workshop Series Winter 2025

Applications are now open

Early-career Cornell faculty are invited to apply for the annual Grant Fellows Workshop Series to be held in Winter 2025. This workshop is designed to help a cohort of pre-tenured faculty interested in developing a quality, review-ready proposal, with valuable information and insights from faculty panels and support from grant-successful facilitators. Topics covered will include trends and opportunities in competitive grant making for early-career faculty, persuasive and compelling narrative writing, the review process, and effective supplementary materials.  

In addition to the seven-week workshop, each participant will be assigned a grant-successful faculty reader in their field to give them detailed feedback on a major grant proposal in development over the course of the year. 

Seven Fridays! From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM 

Lunch Provided - Limited Enrollment  

The workshops will be held from 11:00 am-1:00 pm in ILR Conference Center, Room 225, on the following dates:  

  •  Friday, January 31  
  • Friday, February 7  
  • Friday, February 14  
  • Friday, February 28 
  • Friday, March 7 
  • Friday, March 21 
  • Friday, March 28 

This workshop is aimed at early-career faculty, specifically assistant professors. Spots are limited so applicants must be able to commit to fully attend all seven sessions.  

Interested applicants should complete the online application by Friday, October 25, 2024. We will notify applicants of their acceptance by November 18, 2024.
