-1- Departments may have different schedules that still allow them to submit by the "Due in CALS" date. We try not to ask faculty to work on dossiers during the summer months. External letters can also be hard to obtain during the summer months.

-2- If the “Due in CALS” date falls on a non-working day, then the dossier will be due the next business day.

-3- The tenure dossier timelines were updated in February 2024. The pre-2024 timelines can be found here. All 2024 dossier submittals can be grandfathered in to the old dates. Please let your SrAD Assistant know your plans.

-4- The CALS Senior Associate Deans’ Office will notify you once communication has been received from Day Hall.

-5- Promotion to full professor can be decided in the 6th year after the award of tenure. Thus, review may begin during the start of the 6th year, but should begin no earlier than the end of the 5th year.
