Visit CALS
There’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach to visiting CALS! Regardless of your physical location or the information you seek, we encourage you to explore all the in-person and virtual ways that you can learn more about CALS.
Whether you’re a first-year applicant looking at colleges for the first time, or a transfer applicant looking to make a change, visiting Cornell University’s beautiful campus is a great opportunity to visualize yourself living and studying as a CALS student. If you’re coming to campus during the summer or fall, your visit may coincide with a CALS Undergraduate Information Session where we'll share information about academics, the admissions process, and the student experience at the college. Create your itinerary in advance by heading to Cornell University’s visit website to schedule a general campus tour or sign up for a University and/or CALS information session.
Prospective students should note that Cornell University does not track demonstrated interest. Visiting campus is neither required nor expected of applicants. Students can articulate their fit and interest in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences through the Cornell-specific supplemental essay in their application. While you're welcome to stop by the CALS Undergraduate Admissions Office located in 177 Roberts Hall to pick up our self-guided tour and some introductory handouts, the Admissions team does not offer individual appointments or meetings and we encourage you to reach out via email with any specific questions.
