MyCALSMoment

I can't pinpoint a specific moment, maybe because it’s my entire CALS experience. CALS continues to exceed my expectations, from conversations with professors, incredible classes, and even the delicious lunches at Trillium. The Ag quad is such a special oasis and I'm constantly in awe of everything CALS has to offer.

Why is CALS a great fit for you?

The broad range of majors in CALS allowed me to explore all of my interests. From nutrition, to interpersonal communication, to marketing, I've been able to challenge myself and grow as an intellectual through the support of the College. Additionally, CALS provides a tight-knit community within Cornell, which was something I desired.

What is something you have been involved with outside of academics that is meaningful to you?

Outside of the classroom I am a Body Positive Peer Facilitator. Mental health, body image, and disordered eating are all issues I am very passionate about and I became a facilitator to help other students gain self-love. This has been one of my most rewarding undergraduate experiences.

What are your post-graduation goals?

After graduation I aspire to combine my communication and business education with my passion for giving back to the community by working in corporate philanthropy. I think this path will allow me to combine my interests of brand management, interpersonal communication, and community service.
