DeAngelis Land Use Plan

Long term land use plan for the DeAngelis Property, 120+ acres owned by CCE Ontario. The internship will center on how the acreage could be further used for educational and recreational purposes tied to 4-H Camp and other CCE Programs (e.g., Ag & Natural Resources, Teaching Forest, Aquatic Education & Recreation). City and Regional Planning faculty & students will develop a Park Plan followed with identifying, siting, and planning for needed infrastructure. Interns will first be developing an outline of a DeAngelis Land Use plan. Identifying stakeholders, identifying potential community partners, and identifying roles for our community partners. A key partner to be addressed in the outline are future Cornell University Architecture, Design, and Planning classes/faculty/students and any other possible Cornell University partners.
Qualifications and previous coursework
This opportunity was made available to non-graduating students enrolled in Cornell University's CAS, ILR, AAP, COE and JCB.
