CoE Coffee, Coaching & Connections, presented by the New York State Center of Excellence for Food and Agriculture at Cornell AgriTech, is a monthly series highlighting industry and academic leaders addressing essential topics for food, beverage and agriculture entrepreneurs.

For June, we're partnering with the Cornell Food Venture Center and The Commissary, a food business incubator in Rochester, N.Y., to outline the essentials of food safety, regulatory requirements and everything else food and beverage entrepreneurs need to know to get their products on the market.

Two tours of The Commissary (optional) will be offered before and following the workshop (9 a.m. and 11 a.m.)

Speakers for the June event include:

  • Bruno Xavier- Associate Director, Cornell Food Venture Center
  • Cynthia JamesExtension Support Specialist, Cornell Food Venture Center
  • Ann Charles Vegdahl – Extension Associate, Cornell Microbial Food Safety and Quality and Outreach Program

The seminar is free to attend and breakfast will be provided. The live workshop is in-person only, however, we are accepting registrations for those interested in viewing a video recording of the seminar following the event.
