Nathalie Schmanske
Nathalie is a senior concentrating in General Biology. After graduation, Nathalie plans on moving to Washington D.C. to complete her gap years before attending medical school. She spent the summers after freshman and sophomore year working as a veterinary assistant and research assistant, respectively. This summer, she plans to work as a scribe in an emergency room. She works as a research assistant in the Aquadro Lab, a molecular biology and genetics lab that studies the bag of marbles (bam) gene in Drosophila. Aside from being a student advisor and research assistant, she also serves on the Cornell Undergraduate Research Board (CURB) as head of the Peer Mentorship Program. In her spare time, Nathalie enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with friends!
