Gabriel Avila Llamas ‘25

Gabe will be returning as a student advisor in his senior year, concentrating in Molecular and Cell Biology. He plans to attend medical school possibly after a bridge year post graduation. On campus he is involved in supporting the local chapter of the American Cancer Society, CALS tutoring, the Biological Scholars Program and P3 - the Pre-Professional Program. Gabe is involved in research in the Feschotte Lab- research based on Transposable Elements. In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games, going on hikes, watching animated shows, and hitting the gym. 

His advice to freshmen:

“There are so many unique communities and individuals on campus, so you will definitely find a safe and comfortable space here!”
