Fiona Sun ‘25

Fiona is returning as a senior to the Student Advisor position. She is concentrating in Moleclar and Cell Biology and plans to attend medical school, working in research during her gap year. During summers, she has been a Research assistant at Weill Cornell (2022), Teaching children's summer camp (2023), and Research assistant at Cornell (2023). On campus, she is a research assistant at the Selvaraj Lab of Integrative Physiology, and she investigates the cell pathways that regulate pluripotent stem cells. Fiona is a percussionist in the Cornell Percussion Ensemble, member of the Biological Undergraduate Research Program, where she introduces freshman and sophomores to research techniques, as well as a TA for BIOMG 2800, the Genetics course. Fiona enjoys playing percussion and piano, and is an avid fan of music. She also enjoys nature and the ocean.
