The Biological Sciences major is offered in both the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Arts & Sciences. The major is administered by The Office of Undergraduate Biology.
Dylan Beegal ‘25
Dylan is senior with a concentration in Microbiology and plans on attending an MD/PhD program after graduation. This summer Dylan will be continuing doing Immunology research at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and at Cornell, she does Virology research in the Aguilar-Carreno Lab. Dylan is an active member of the Biology Scholar's Program, Alpha Chi Omega, and Sport TaeKwonDo at Cornell. Dylan also works at Cornell's Dairy Bar and does research in the Vet School's Aguilar-Carreno Lab. Dylan also takes part in many philanthropic causes on campus like BigRedTHON, ACS, Best Buddies, and domestic violence awareness. In her spare time, she loves to be with nature, whether it be painting outside or going on a hike.
Dylan’s words of advice to incoming students:
“Say yes to any new opportunities, whether it be a low commitment club or an interview for something you have never done before. Being open to new opportunities is the best way to find your niche and explore everything Cornell has to offer.”
