David Pan '25
David concentrates in Computational Biology and plans to pursue a PhD degree after graduation. On campus, David is a member of the Cornell Lion Dance team and a biochemistry TA. He is also a member of the Roeder Lab where he studies the molecular basis of robust sepal development in Arabidopsis. David's favorite course at Cornell has been CHEM 4500: Principles of Chemical Biology. For fun, David loves to learn languages, longboard, and play pickup basketball with friends to wind down. David has worked on independent projects in the Roeder Lab for the past 2 summers and joined Columbia University as an Amgen Scholar this last summer.
Constance's words of advice for new students
“At Cornell, things happen everywhere, all the time, at the same time. Try to be a sponge, but take it all in at your own pace. Try it all out little by little, but never stop trying. “
