Cristy Torres ’25
Cristina is a returning senior, student advisor concentrating in genetics, genomics, and development. She has spent previous summers in CHAMPS, Northwestern University CURE, and is a McNair Scholar. She intends to apply to graduate school to get a PhD in Genetics. On campus she is involved in Molecular Bio and Genetics in the Transposon Lab. She is also a writer for the Cornell Daily Sun (science section), is in the Biological Scholars Program, and is a TA for genetics. For fun, Cristina enjoys reading, hanging out with friends, and watching movies.
