Andrew Hill '25

Andrew is a Marino Biology concentrator and plans to either pursue a graduate degree in marine biology or become an environmental consultant. He is a member of the Lopéz-Sepulcre Ecology Lab where he analyzes the effects of urbanization on the trophic ecology of guppies. He is also a CALS ambassador and a member of Cornell Angler's Society and worked with migrating amphibians as a volunteer with the Department of Environmental Conservation. His favorite course at Cornell is BIOEE 1540: Introduction to Oceanography and in his free time, he likes to play basketball, go fishing, workout, and listen to music. Last summer he conducted fish behavior research at the Cornell Biological Field Station at Shackelton Point. 

His words of advice to new students

“Take advantage of all the endless opportunities that this university has to offer by learning more about yourself on both an academic and personal level. Become involved on campus and never be afraid to start conversations with new people. ”
