Zion Abrams ’23

Zion concentrates in Animal Physiology with plans to go to veterinary school after graduation.  On campus, he is involved with Posse, Eco House, Queer Magazine, and the Biology Scholars Program.  To relax, Zion enjoys watching TV and movies, going to the Commons, and cooking with friends.  His favorite courses have been Biochemistry, Animal Physiology, Evolutionary Biology, and Genetics.  In previous summers, he has shadowed veterinarians and done an internship at Brookfield Zoo.

His words of advice for new students

Starting off rough your freshman year isn’t the worst thing in the world.  Many graduate schools look at an upward trend on your transcript.”
