The Biological Sciences major is offered in both the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Arts & Sciences. The major is administered by The Office of Undergraduate Biology.
Sripad Sureshbabu '24
Sripad is concentrating in Neurobiology & Behavior with plans to apply to medical school. On campus, he is a member of the Engineering World Health Project Team, sketch comedy troupe The Skits, and is an editor for the Healthcare Review. He conducts research in the Tumbar Lab of Stem Cell Biology. In his free time, Sripad loves biking and playing basketball. His favorite course at Cornell so far has been Intro to Adult Learning (EDUC 2200). This past summer, he stayed in Ithaca to do research in his lab.
His words of advice for incoming students are
“Stay open to people & opportunities, and do not be afraid to reach out for support. Also, make decisions for yourself, don’t make them due to the pressure of someone else.”
