The Biological Sciences major is offered in both the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Arts & Sciences. The major is administered by The Office of Undergraduate Biology.
Lwiza AitDowd '24
Lwiza is concentrating in Cell & Molecular Biology and is thinking about attending graduate school. On campus, she works for intramural sports and serves as a student mentor for the Biology Scholars Program. She is involved in research at the Fowell Lab in the College of Veterinary Medicine. In her free time, Lwiza enjoys playing soccer and going out with friends.
Her favorite class at Cornell has been FGSS 2010: Introduction to Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality studies. This past summer, Lwiza stayed in Ithaca and continued conducting research in her lab.
