Kyra Kwok ’23

Kyra concentrates in General Biology with plans to attend medical school. She is involved with the Cornell University Deaf Awareness Project and Phi Delta Epsilon medical fraternity, and volunteers at Cayuga Medical Center.  She also conducts research on campus in the lab of Dr. Andrew Moeller. Her favorite class at Cornell is HD 3620: Human Bonding, which she considers a must-take course.  In her free time, Kyra enjoys exercising, spending time outside and listening to music, and she has recently picked up crocheting.  This past summer, she worked as a scribe for an endocrinologist in NYC.  She is excited for BioFest this year!

Kyra’s words of advice for new students

You are not alone!  If you ever find yourself struggling with the transition to Cornell or in a specific class, know that you are (1) not alone in feeling that way and (2) surrounded by people and resources that can help you.  You’re never alone!”
