Eleni Pinzon '24

Eleni is concentrating in Neurobiology & Behavior with plans to attend either graduate school or medical school after graduation.  On campus, she is involved with the Cornell Speech and Debate program, Cornellians for Life, and the American Cancer Society.  This past summer she started conducting research at Dr. Christiane Linster’s Computational Physiology Lab in the department of Neurobiology & Behavior.  In her free time, Eleni loves practicing piano, including learning the Avengers theme song for her 13-year-old brother, reading, and is actively involved in her church.  Her favorite course at Cornell has been CHEM 3570, Organic Chemistry I, because it allowed her to put biological processes into context, plus it was fun to learn all the reactions!  In addition to conducting research at the Linster Lab, this past summer she volunteered at STRONG Memorial Hospital to gain additional clinical experience.

Her advice for incoming students

“Take the time to plan out your course schedule and look at college and major requirements.  Don’t be afraid to take courses that interest you!  You got this!”
