The Biological Sciences major is offered in both the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Arts & Sciences. The major is administered by The Office of Undergraduate Biology.
Alyssa Schwertfeger '24
Alyssa is concentrating in Human Nutrition with plans to attend medical school. On campus, she is a member of Big Red Ambassadors, and has helped shadow the athletic trainer for Cornell Men’s Hockey. She also helps run the hockey team’s Instagram and Twitter accounts. In her free time, Alyssa loves watching hockey, being outside, going for walks with her dog Coco, spending time at the beach, surfing, and spending time with friends. Her favorite course at Cornell so far has been MATH 1106. In previous summers, Alyssa shadowed a dermatologist, volunteered/shadowed athletic trainers for the lacrosse team she used to play for, and worked a retail job at a surf shop/boutique in Stone Harbor, NJ.
