The Biological Sciences major is offered in both the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Arts & Sciences. The major is administered by The Office of Undergraduate Biology.
Adriana Krasniqi ‘25
Adriana is concentrating in Neurobiology and Behavior and plans to attend medical school after graduation! At Cornell, she does research on butterfly wing pattern evo-devo in the Reed Lab, is a member Biology Scholars Program (BSP), the American Medical Women’s Association, Cornell Minds Matter, and EARS. Her favorite classes have been BIOEE 1781 and those in American Sign Language! Last summer, Adriana volunteered at Weill Cornell and hopes to gain more clinical hours next summer. For fun, she likes to read, play the piano, swim, play basketball, play video games, watch movies and shows, and sleep!
Her words of advice for incoming students:
“Do not be afraid to ask for help or to need help! We all need a little guidance and inspiration sometimes. It's okay not to be okay sometimes. Life is all about learning and growing slowly.”
