Prior to her work at Cornell, Beth received a Master’s Degree in Communication from the University of Connecticut with a focus on organizational communication. In pursuing opportunities to further expand her knowledge and improve workplace well-being, she joined Cornell’s Employee Assembly Welfare Committee in the summer of 2020.
Beth values being in community with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. She has supported international students in a number of roles including three semesters as a volunteer Speaking Group facilitator for international graduate students at Cornell’s English Language Support Office. Beth was also a 2021 recipient of the Culture of Belonging Award as part of the Cornell President's Awards for Employee Excellence.
