Excellence in Mentoring

The Excellence in Mentoring Undergraduate Students in Independent Research award is a student-nominated award that recognizes a CALS faculty or academic staff member (research and extension associates and lecturers) who has provided outstanding guidance and mentorship to one or more students engaged in independent research.

During the selection process, quality of mentorship will be weighted more than the number of students mentored.
