CALS Donald C. Burgett Distinguished Advisor Award
After 28 years of service, Donald C. Burgett retired as CALS’ Director of Student Services in September 1995.
Don had an outstanding career working with and counseling students. He also coordinated the CALS faculty advising program, designed efficient and successful academic programs made academic programs work, skillfully handled the Academic Petitions Committee, and excelled in all other aspects of his position. The award is named in Don's honor. This award is considered prestigious by the faculty, because it is awarded by students.
