The Facilities Master Plan consultant team is comprised of three firms:

Urban Strategies, Inc

Urban Strategies is overseeing all components of the work and is focusing on the land analysis and planning scenarios. Urban Strategies recently led the development of the Comprehensive Master Plan for Cornell.

Educational Consulting Services Corp

Educational Consulting Services is responsible for the space utilization analysis and space allocation model, and is working with Urban Strategies to prepare the planning scenarios.

Educational Consulting Services Corp. (ECS), a Canadian firm, has been meeting the diverse planning needs of educational institutions and organizations since 1973, with a track record of over 900 completed projects in 29 countries.

ECS provides services in Facilities Planning, Educational Planning and Management Consulting. Assignments are carried out by a team of planners, analysts and educators who deliver these services to satisfy the unique needs of each client.

ECS clients include Universities and Colleges, Training Institutions, Ministries of Education, International Funding Institutions, School Boards, Research Centres, non-Governmental Organizations and Independent Schools.


Stantec is responsible for carrying out the comprehensive building condition assessments.
