Job Description
Incumbent is responsible for carrying out office activities and functions pertaining to a broad variety of FSA Commodity Programs with the following programs specifically assigned: Compliance including HELC/WC (Handbook 6-CP), GIS/GPS activities, DCP, Common Provisions (except Payment Limitation), including Recons, ADP Backup and all Gleaning efforts in the county. Works in a Service Center environment with shared responsibilities for customer service and receiving payments. Other commodity programs may be assigned depending on experience. The employee will also assist in other work areas and functions as needed or assigned.
Job Qualifications
1. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. 2. Ability to identify and solve problems. 3. Ability to plan, work, and make decisions independently. 4. Ability to interpret and apply written regulations. 5. Evidence of the ability to accept change and keep pace with rapidly evolving programs. 6. Knowledge of Farm Service Agency Farm Program practices and customs.
