Job Description
- Management of overall product development process and team within R&D
- Guide, coach, and lead product development team members to develop safe, innovative, and quality products
- Develop new or improved production, individually or as part of a team, establishing and executing product development, departmental, and organizational goals and objectives, strategic planning, asset allocation, and coordinating product development efforts
- Growth and development of the Product Development team through training, evaluations, and professional development
- Manage product development team and work with plant personnel to oversee plant trials and initial production of new production and processes
- Provide grievance and personnel counseling and keep employees informed of policies, procedures, and operational changes
- Administer direct supervisory responsibilities for personnel, including selection, hiring, training, performance evaluation, promotional recommendations, and work schedules
- Ensure that new and / or improved products and processes are adequately tested to maintain standards of quality
Job Qualifications
- Degree in Dairy Science or Food Science or equivalent experience in the R&D field is preferred
- MUST be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
