• Conducts research in medical entomology, planning, controlling, and monitoring pest - and disease-control programs that can affect the health and morale of Soldiers and their families
• Specific position assignment is strongly based on experience and background, as assignments can vary from research focused to applied focused
• Research-focused scientists work at research centers while applied-focused scientists work at hospitals, medical centers, and environmental response teams
• Positions vary nationwide and throughout Europe

Job Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in entomology
• Minimum of one medical entomology course from a school acceptable to the Surgeon General

* Full or Part Time positions are available

Salary

Master's: 52,000 - 62,000; Ph.D.: 55,000 - 70,000
