Job Description

Prioritize projects and develop timelines for the R&D Department
Manage interdisciplinary and company-wide objectives and needs
Manage R&D group consisting of R&D Project Leaders / Food Technologists for the successful and timely coordination and execution of developmental milestones, product launches, new ingredient development, new processing technologies, interdepartmental needs
Manage, implement, and present results from revised product formulation, new ingredient implementation, and other projects for successful cost savings
Develop, manage, and implement reformulations, new product and processing technologies, and consumer testings
Recommend and oversee the implementation of product, processing, and equipment enhancements for existing products as well as develop protocols, process and equipment specifications, and all other requirements for current and new products produced in-house and at contract manufacturing locations
Travel 15% of time

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Dairy and or Food / Nutritional sciences
Five (5) years R&D and project management experience in a food manufacturing environment with dairy and food related companies
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Skilled in Microsoft Office
