Job Description
- Part-time, ten month position
- Designing and implementing curriculum associated with CHAMPS / Life Skills program
- Supervising the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
- Writing grants for educational programs for student-athletes
- Identifying and nominating student-athletes for conference, state, regional, and national academic and leadership awards or for post-graduate academic scholarships
- Coordinating the community service programs within athletics and assisting the academic coordinator with academic services for special talent and at-risk student-athletes
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with student-athletes or intercollegiate athletics
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Computer literacy
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in related area
- Experience with academic tutoring
- Experience with NCAA CHAMPS / Life Skills program
