Job Description
Reports to: Store Manager/ Product Support Manager
Responsibilities:
Basic - Increase sales of service, parts, Filter Profiles, Bulk oil, GPS and improve customer satisfaction.
Specific - Locate, meet and develop relationship with all potential customers in sales area assigned.
Collect customer profile information, type of equipment, who their current parts and service providers are and enter into MT database.
Perform “After Sale” follow up on units sold to include machine inspection, Introduce yourself, the MT Advantage program, and how you will support that customer.
Follow up on every unit repaired in our shop within one week of return to the customer. Ensure customer satisfaction.
Solicit service work by selling machine inspections, developing repair quotes, customized maintenance inspection programs and service scheduling in conjunction with Service Manager.
Promote parts sales to both Case and competitive users. Offer parts packages for on location stock programs for filter profiles, hardware, hoses and couplings, Baling twine, Bulk Oil, Tillage, GPS and any others that may be needed by the customer. Actively pursue wear parts sales. Inform customers of our parts and component inventories.
Keep an active eye open for customer equipment needs and refer them to the appropriate salesman. Be sure to complete equipment referral form. A copy of the form should be given to Store Manger, Sales Representative, and Product Support Manager
Submit input for advertising and promotions that will assist your efforts
Prepare and submit customer call reports everyday to be sure to get credit for your sales.
